Cetroxol (Azithromycin) 100mg Suspension
Composition:
Each 5 mL of reconstituted suspension contains:
- Azithromycin (as azithromycin dihydrate) - 100 mg
Indications:
Cetroxol is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of bacteria, including:
- Respiratory tract infections
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Otitis media
- Other infections as determined by a healthcare provider
Dosing:
The dosing of Cetroxol (Azithromycin) may vary based on the age, weight, and specific condition of the patient. The following is a general guideline:
- The recommended dose is based on body weight:
- 10 mg/kg (up to a maximum of 500 mg) on the first day
- 5 mg/kg (up to a maximum of 250 mg) once daily for the next 4 days

- Stir well until the powder is completely dissolved.

3. Missed Dose:
- If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume the regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.
