Dynewell (Cyproheptadine) Tablets

**Composition:**

Each tablet of Dynewell contains:

• Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride: 4 mg

**Dosage:**

• **Adults:** The usual starting dose is 4 mg (1 tablet) taken 2 to 3 times daily. The dosage may be increased to a maximum of 12 mg per day, divided into smaller doses, as needed.
• **Pediatric Patients (2 years and older):** The recommended starting dose is 2 mg (half a tablet) taken 2 to 3 times daily. The dosage may be adjusted based on the child's response, with a maximum of 8 mg per day.
• **Elderly Patients:** Caution is advised when prescribing to elderly patients. A lower starting dose may be appropriate, and the dosage should be adjusted based on tolerance and response.

**Indications:**

Dynewell (Cyproheptadine) is indicated for:

• The management of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis and urticaria (hives).
• As an appetite stimulant in patients with conditions leading to weight loss or poor appetite.
• The treatment of migraine headaches in some cases.
• As an adjunctive therapy in the management of serotonin syndrome.
