Felxicam (piroxicam) Hovid 20mg

**Composition:**

Each capsule/tablet of Piroxicam (Felxicam) contains:

• Piroxicam: 20 mg

**Indications:**

Piroxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) indicated for the management of:

1. **Osteoarthritis**: Relief of symptoms associated with osteoarthritis.
2. **Rheumatoid Arthritis**: Management of pain and inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis.
3. **Acute Pain**: Short-term relief of acute pain conditions.
4. **Dysmenorrhea**: Treatment of primary dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain).
5. **Postoperative Pain**: Relief of pain following surgical procedures.

**Dosage:**

• **Adults**: The usual recommended dose is 20 mg once daily. In some cases, the dose may be adjusted based on the patient's response and the severity of the condition.
• **Elderly**: Caution is advised; starting with a lower dose may be appropriate.
• **Renal Impairment**: Dosage adjustments may be necessary in patients with renal impairment.
