Composition:
Each Meprasil capsule contains:

Indications:
Meprasil (Omeprazole) is indicated for the treatment of the following conditions:
- Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): To relieve symptoms of heartburn and acid regurgitation.
- Peptic Ulcer Disease: For the healing of gastric and duodenal ulcers.
- Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: For the management of hypersecretion of gastric acid.

Dosing:
- Adults: The typical dose of Meprasil (Omeprazole) is 20 mg once daily. Depending on the condition being treated, the dose may be adjusted as follows:
- For GERD: 20 mg to 40 mg once daily for up to 4-8 weeks.
- For Peptic Ulcer Disease: 20 mg to 40 mg once daily for 4-8 weeks.
- For Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: Initial dose of 60 mg once daily, which may be adjusted based on clinical response.
- Pediatric Patients: Dosing in children should be determined by a healthcare provider based on weight and specific condition.
