How to take it

Common side effects
Crestor is generally well tolerated. Possible side effects include:
Stop taking Crestor and contact your doctor immediately if you experience unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness — especially with fever or dark urine. This may be a sign of a rare but serious condition called rhabdomyolysis.
Who should not take Crestor 10 mg
Pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding — statins can harm the unborn baby
People with active liver disease or persistently raised liver enzymes
People with known allergy to Rosuvastatin or any tablet ingredient
Patients with severe kidney disease not on dialysis
Patients taking Cyclosporine (an immunosuppressant)

If taking antacids, separate them from Crestor by at least 2 hours.
