Melocap (meloxicam) 15mg

**Composition:**

• Each Melocap tablet contains:
• Meloxicam: 15 mg
• Excipients: (as per formulation, e.g., lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, etc.)

**Dosage:**

• **Adults:**
• The usual starting dose is 15 mg once daily.
• After 2-4 weeks, the dose may be reduced to 7.5 mg once daily based on the patient's response and tolerability.
• **Elderly:**
• The initial dose should be 7.5 mg once daily. The dose may be increased to 15 mg if necessary and tolerated.
• **Renal Impairment:**
• In patients with mild to moderate renal impairment, the maximum recommended dose is 7.5 mg once daily.
• **Hepatic Impairment:**
• Caution is advised in patients with hepatic impairment; the maximum recommended dose is 7.5 mg once daily.

**Indications:**

• Melocap (Meloxicam) is indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation in the following conditions:
• Osteoarthritis
• Rheumatoid arthritis
• Ankylosing spondylitis
• Acute pain conditions (e.g., postoperative pain)
• Pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders
