What is Valsartan 80mg? 

Valsartan 80mg is a prescription medicine used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and heart failure. It belongs to the Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB) drug class, which works by blocking a hormone that tightens blood vessels — allowing them to relax and making it easier for your heart to pump blood. The 80mg strength is commonly prescribed as a starting or maintenance dose, particularly for patients new to ARB therapy or those requiring a lower dose.

What is it used for?
