Tazogard Piperacillin Tazobactam 4.5g

Composition:

• Each vial contains piperacillin sodium equivalent to 4g piperacillin and tazobactam sodium equivalent to 0.5g tazobactam.

Dosage:

• The usual adult dose for Tazogard 4.5g injection is 4.5g (piperacillin 4g and tazobactam 0.5g) every 6 hours by intravenous infusion over 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Indications:

• Tazogard (piperacillin-tazobactam) 4.5g injection is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including intra-abdominal infections, skin and skin structure infections, pneumonia, and urinary tract infections.
