Common Side Effects

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. 

From Amlodipine (Calcium Channel Blocker):

• Ankle and foot swelling (peripheral oedema) — the most commonly reported side effect of Amlodipine; usually mild
• Flushing (feeling of warmth or redness in the face)

• Fatigue or tiredness
• Nausea or mild abdominal discomfort

From Telmisartan (ARB):

• Signs of very low blood pressure: fainting, extreme dizziness, or near-collapse
• Signs of severe electrolyte imbalance: muscle weakness, irregular heartbeat, confusion
