Zyncet syrup contains cetirizine hydrochloride, a second-generation antihistamine in a convenient liquid form — making it especially suitable for children and adults who have difficulty swallowing tablets. It works by blocking histamine, the chemical responsible for triggering allergy symptoms, providing fast, effective relief that lasts all day with just one dose.

What it treats

• Seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) — sneezing, runny nose, and itchy or watery eyes triggered by pollen
• Perennial allergic rhinitis — year-round allergy symptoms caused by dust mites, pet dander, or mould
• Chronic urticaria (hives) — persistent itchy, raised skin rash
• Allergic skin reactions — itching, redness, and swelling linked to allergies
• Allergic conjunctivitis — itchy, red, watery eyes due to allergens

How to use

Children 2 to 6 years: 2.5ml once daily or 2.5ml twice daily as directed by a doctor

Children 6 to 12 years: 5ml once daily or 5ml twice daily as directed by a doctor

Adults and children over 12 years: 10ml once daily, preferably in the evening

• Always use the measuring spoon or cup provided — do not estimate doses
• Can be taken with or without food
• Shake well before use if directed on the packaging
• Do not exceed the recommended dose

Important precautions

• May cause drowsiness in some people — do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you
• Avoid giving to children under 2 years without specific medical advice
